When Will the Milwaukee Brewers Sign Cable & Satellite TV Deals?

The TV Answer Man – Buy Me a Coffee!

TV Answer Man, do you know when we will learn about the Milwaukee Brewers getting deals with cable and DIRECTV? I really, really am getting impatient!! Please, people! – Stevie, Madison, Wisconsin.

Stevie, I feel your pain. The Milwaukee Brewers are one of the nine MLB teams that were previously carried by the financially failing FanDuel Sports Network. The teams exited their FanDuel deals this year and launched their own streaming plans under the team.TV banner. (In this case, Brewers.TV.)

However, with Opening Day a few days away, the Brewers and the other teams have yet to secure carriage agreements with cable and satellite operators. (With a few exceptions: Spectrum TV today announced a deal with the Atlanta Braves.) There are financial reasons for this which you can learn about here.

So when will the Brewers get on cable and satellite so you don’t have to shell out $99 to stream your team during the 2026 season?

Brewers President of Business Operations Rick Schlesinger said this week the team will have some announcements on Opening Day (March 26: The Brewers will play at home against the White Sox at 2:10 p.m. ET.)

“I can assure fans that, if they’re used to watching games on cable, satellite and streaming, they’re invariably going to have very similar options for 2026,” Schlesinger told reporters, according to Milwaukee Magazine.

So, Stevie, summon up a little more patience. You should get some good news on Thursday.

I hope that answers your question. Happy viewing and stay safe!
