Amazon, Netflix, Hulu, Apple TV Adding 11 New Releases Today: The 3 to Watch

Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, Apple TV, HBO Max, Paramount Plus and Disney Plus today (March 18, 2026) are adding 11 new TV shows and movies to their streaming lineups. Here are the three to watch, in my humble opinion:

The Nanny (Complete Series)
Where to Watch: Hulu
What Kind of Show: Sitcom
Who’s In It: Fran Drescher, Charles Shaughnessy
Fran Drescher shines as a Jewish cosmetics clerk who’s hired to be the nanny to three kids from an upper class Angelo-American family in New York. The show, which was a huge hit for CBS during its six seasons in the 1990s, was the perfect showcase for Drescher’s abrasive (but ultimately warmhearted) style of humor. She became an overnight sensation and now you can find out why with all six seasons on Hulu.

Shrinking (Season three, new episode)
Where to Watch: Apple TV
Who’s In It: Harrison Ford, Jason Segel
What Kind of Show: Comedy/Drama
Jason Segel stars as a therapist who decides to get more involved in his patients’ lives after his wife dies. The cast includes Harrison Ford as the therapist’s mentor who has Parkinson’s Disease. (Michael J. Fox, a real-life victim of Parkinson’s, has joined the cast in season three.) In today’s new episode, Jimmy (Segel) wrestles with the consequences of being too honest. If you haven’t watched Shrinking, it’s a funny show with some great life lessons and the cast is terrific across the board.

Imperfect Women (Series Premiere)

What Kind of Show: Thriller
Who’s In It: Elisabeth Moss, Kerry Washington, Kate Mara, Joel Kinnaman
And speaking of Apple TV, the quality-first streamer today debuts a new show, Imperfect Women, which stars Elisabeth Moss, Kerry Washington and Kate Mara as three female friends whose lives were shattered by a mysterious crime from the past. The mystery unspools as the series progresses with the crime’s consequences getting more serious (and present day) for each one. The first two episodes premiere today with the next six running on subsequent Wednesdays until the finale on April 29. (Featured photo of Moss, Washington and Mara.)
