Netflix to Add 25 New Releases This Week: The 3 to Watch

Netflix this week (March 15-21, 2026) is adding 25 new TV shows and movies to its streaming lineups. Here are the three to watch, in my humble opinion:

Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man (2026)
When to Watch: Friday, March 20
What Kind of Movie: Drama
Who’s In It: Cillian Murphy, Stephen Graham, Rebecca Ferguson

After six seasons of great episodic TV, Netflix is returning Peaky Blinders with a 112-minute movie again starring Cillian Murphy as British crime boss Tommy Shelby. The film picks up the story with Shelby in semi-exile in 1940 but the aging war lord still has some fight left in him when his nation is threatened by…the Nazis! Stephen Graham reprises his role as sidekick Hayden Stagg and Rebecca Ferguson and Barry Keoghan (as Shelby’s son) join the cast.

BTS: The Comeback Live (Netflix Live Event)
When to Watch: Saturday, March 21, 7 a.m. ET
What Kind of Show: Live Concert

Who’s In It: Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jung Kook
The South Korean K-Pop boy band is back after a four-year hiatus and Netflix will live stream its comeback concert. Depending upon your age, and musical taste, you may have never heard of these young men but in 2020 they had six singles on the Billboard 100. The last band to do that? The Beatles. If you’re planning to watch the BTS comeback show, plug in the automatic coffee maker now. It will start at 7 a.m. ET on Saturday. (That’s 8 p.m. Korean time.)

The Ricky Gervais Show (Seasons 1-3)
When to Watch: Tuesday, March 17
What Kind of Show: Animated Comedy
Who’s In It: Ricky Gervais, Stephen Merchant, Karl Pilkington (voices)

After the success of The Office in the UK, Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant returned to a small radio station in London to record a series of podcasts along with a station producer, Karl Pilkington. The off-the-cuff chats became so popular that the trio decided to turn them into an animated comedy series which ran for three seasons (13 episodes each season). If you love Ricky Gervais, you’ll love these shows. And if you don’t love Ricky Gervais, well, there’s no hope for you, is there?
