The TV Answer Man – Buy Me a Coffee!
ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, The CW and PBS tonight (March 14, 2026) will add 13 new shows. Here are the three to watch, in my humble opinion:
World Baseball Classic: Venezuela vs. Japan
Where to Watch: Fox
When to Watch: 9 p.m.
It’s Saturday night so it’s a big sports night on the networks starting with the 9 p.m. semifinal World Baseball Classic game between Japan and Venezuela. The Dodgers’ Yoshinobu Yamamoto will start for Japan while Boston’s Ranger Suarez will take the ball for Venezuela. Japan, 4-0 in the WBC, is a favorite to win it all behind LA superstar Shohei Ohtani.
NBA Basketball: Denver Nuggets at Los Angeles Lakers
Where to Watch: ABC
When to Watch: 8:30 p.m.
And over on ABC, the Nuggets face the Lakers at Crypto.com Arena (Worst arena name in sports). The two teams are battling for third place in the Western Conference so don’t worry about experiencing load management tonight. LA’s Luka Doncic leads the Lake Show with 32.9 points a game while Denver is paced by Nicola Jokic who’s pumping in 28.7 points per contest.
Saturday Night Live (New episode)
Where to Watch: NBC
When to Watch: 11:30 p.m.
Who’s In It: Harry Styles
SNL has taken a large leap in quality (downward) from its heydays but the show tonight is hosted by master entertainer Harry Styles who will warble a few songs from his new album as well as shine in sketches.
