The Atlanta Braves Reveal Pricing For Braves.TV: Why You Shouldn’t Order

The TV Answer Man – Buy Me a Coffee!
TV Answer Man, the Braves finally revealed the price for its streaming service. $99. Is that a good deal in your opinion? – Jen, Augusta, Georgia.
The Atlanta Braves yesterday revealed that its new streaming service, Braves.TV, will cost $99 for the 2026 season. You can also order monthly for $19.99. (The Braves were formerly available on FanDuel Sports Network but exited its relationship with the financially struggling RSN (regional sports network) operation last month.)
The $99 price tag is the same that several other ex-FanDuel teams are charging. So if you’re a cord cutter who doesn’t subscribe to a cable or satellite service (and a Braves fan), I would recommend that you order Braves.TV. (Note that Braves.TV is only available to order if you live in the Braves’ TV market. That includes parts of North Carolina, and all of Tennessee, Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama and Mississippi. See the map below.)
However, if you are a cable or satellite customer whose plan last year included the Braves on FanDuel, I strongly recommend that you wait to see if your TV provider will add Braves.TV before Opening Day. The odds are good that it will – if it carried the team last year – so you could save $99 by waiting. For example, DIRECTV has already designated a channel (645) for Braves Vision.

That’s why I dropped cable. I was tired of paying for sports channels I didn’t watch. I now have a skinny streaming bundle.
