ABC, CBS, Fox, NBC Adding 20 New Shows Tonight: The 3 to Watch

ABC, PBS, NBC, Fox, CW, and CBS tonight (March 11, 2026) will add 20 new shows to their primetime lineups. Here are the three to watch, in my humble opinion. (All Times Eastern.)

 

Abbott Elementary (New episode)
What Kind of Show: Workplace comedy
Where to Watch: ABC
When to Watch: 8:30 p.m.
The mockumentary comedy featuring everyone’s favorite underfunded Philadelphia public school was just renewed for another season (will be its sixth). Tonight in a new episode, the staff visits an anti-drug campaign and History teacher Jacob (Chris Perfetti) deals with a school election controversy.

Scrubs (New Season)
Where to Watch: ABC (8 p.m.)
What Kind of Show: Medical Comedy
Who’s In It: Zach Braff, Donald Faison
Since they are in nearly every commercial, it may not seem like Zach Braff and Donald Faison are returning; feels like they never left. But the two actors are back in their ‘scrubs’ in this 10th season revival of the comedy series which aired on ABC from 2001 to 2010. Sarah Chalke, who plays a doctor on the show (but does not star in 3,569 commercials), will also return. In tonight’s new episode (number 4), J.D. (Braff) plans a poker night with Turk (Faison) to relive their glory days.

Animal Babies: First Year On Earth
Where to Watch: PBS (8-11 p.m.)
What Kind of Show: Nature Documentary
If adorable is your choice for tonight’s viewing, hop over to PBS prime time for three straight hour episodes of baby animals navigating their first year of life. The doc will follow a newborn elephant in Kenya; a toque macaque in Sri Lanka; mountain gorillas in Uganda; and Arctic foxes, among others. Oh, they’re so cute!
