Netflix, Hulu, HBO, Amazon Adding 17 New Releases Today: The 3 to Watch

Netflix, Amazon Prime, HBO, Hulu, Paramount Plus and Peacock today (March 6, 2026) are adding 17 new TV shows and movies to their streaming lineups. Here are the three to watch, in my humble opinion:

War Machine (2026)
Where to Watch: Netflix
What Kind of Movie: Sci-fi/Action
Who’s In It: Alan Ritchson, Dennis Quaid

Reacher’s Alan Ritchson stars as an elite Army Ranger officer whose training exercise suddenly turns into a battle to the death with an outer-worldly force. The 71-year-old Dennis Quaid plays a member of his team which probably makes the outer-worldly force a 2-1 favorite here. Seriously, if you like the Reacher series on Amazon, you’ll probably love the muscle-bound Ritchson here playing the Arnold/Sly role. Just be sure to lower your expectations along with the lights.

The Pink Pill: Sex, Drugs & Who Has Control (2026)
Where to Watch: Paramount Plus
What Kind of Movie: Documentary
Who’s In It: Cindy Eckert

The documentary chronicles the efforts of entrepreneur Cindy Eckert to bring a female Viagra pill to market, finding along the way that gender bias rules the industry, at least in her view. The Pink Pill has aroused significant controversy, so to speak, with male medical ‘experts’ under fire for allegedly discriminating against women.

The TikTok Killer (2026)
Where to Watch: Netflix
What Kind of Show: Docuseries

Netflix has never met a serial killer it wouldn’t stream so today’s debut of The TikTok Killer should be no surprise to anyone. The show traces the murder of a 42-year-old woman who was killed while traveling in Spain. It appears that the woman became entangled with a popular social media influencer on TikTok who may have had a dark past unseen by his followers. The TikTok Killer is yet another example of the dangers of social media, particularly to those who see it as a quick route to fame and fortune.

Note: You may also want to check out Hamnet, debuting on Peacock. The Oscar-nominated movie is based on the family life of William Shakespeare.
