Netflix has announced that it will exclusively stream a MMA featherweight match between Ronda Rousey (12-2) and Gina Carano (7-1) on May 16, 2026 at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California.
The fight, Netflix’s first MMA broadcast, will be available to subscribers in all Netflix plans.
The streamer has hosted a handful of boxing events including the Jake Paul-Anthony Joshua fight in December, won by Joshua with a TKO.
“After the record-breaking success in boxing, we wanted our first MMA event to be truly legendary,” Gabe Spitzer, Netflix VP of Sports, said in a press release.. “These are more than just athletes — they are generational stars, and having them headline our MMA debut at the Intuit Dome is a defining moment for us.”
Rousey and Carano were once dominant in the MMA but have not fought for more than a decade. The two will fight 5 five-minute rounds, wearing four ounce gloves.
The fight time has not been announced but the night’s card will likely start around 8 p.m. ET
