Hulu to Add 102 New Shows & Movies This Week – Here Are the 3 to Watch

Hulu this week (June 29-July 5, 2025) plans to add 102 new TV shows and movies to its streaming lineup. Here are the three to watch, in my humble opinion.

Community (All 6 Seasons)
Release Date: Thursday, July 3
Joel McHale stars as a disbarred attorney who returns to community college to earn a legitimate degree after his inflated resume is exposed. Community, which aired originally on NBC, also includes Chevy Chase, Donald Glover, Alison Brie, and Gillian Jacobs and it’s a hoot. Very good show which works both as comedy and satire of higher education.

The Actor (2025)
Release Date: Monday, June 30
Andre Holland (The Knick) stars as a man who discovers himself stranded in a small town with no memory of how he got there. His situation goes from bad to worse when the townspeople seem hellbent to keep him there for inexplicable reasons.

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives – Season Two Reunion – Hulu Original Series
Release Date: Tuesday, July 1
The Hulu busy bees have concocted a reality series featuring a TikTok group of married Mormon women who share their secrets and their husbands for pleasure and profit. By all accounts, which arguably means dubious social media chatter, the show is a hit and now Hulu will bring back the cast to discuss the tawdry doings in seasons one and two. (Both are now available on Hulu.)
