Amazon’s Prime Video this week (June 15-21, 2025) plans to add four new TV shows and movies to its streaming lineup. Here are the highlights:

The Chosen: Last Supper Season 5

The Christian historical dramatic series has become an international sensation for its intense and realistic portrayal of Jesus. Season five, which debuted episodes one and two on Sunday (June 15), will continue next Sunday (June 22) with three more episodes. Then, the final three episodes will premiere on Sunday, June 29. This season is focusing on the events leading up to The Last Summer which preceded the crucifixion of Jesus.

We Were Liars – Amazon Original Series
Based on the E. Lockhart novel, the series focuses on a 15-year-old girl whose sheltered life on a private island comes asunder after an unexpected event. Debuts Wednesday, June 18.

Sonic the Hedgehog 3 (2024)
Jim Carrey is back with dual voice roles in this animated film about a blue hedgehog combating an evil scientist. Debuts Friday, June 20.

Salvatore: Shoemaker of Dreams (2022)
The documentary examines the world famous shoemaker Salvatore Ferragamo. And if you’ve never heard of Ferragamo, ask your feet; I’m sure they have. Debuts Saturday, June 21.
