ESPN revealed today that its standalone streaming service, called ESPN, will cost $29.99 a month when it launches this fall.

The service, which will not require a cable or satellite subscription, will include the full live and on-demand lineup of the sports network’s suite of channels.

ESPN the streaming service will also be available for $35.99 a month if bundled with the ads-included Disney Plus and Hulu subscription services. However, the bundle cost will be reduced to $29.99 a month at launch.

The company says ESPN+, which offers some programming from ESPN as well as some unique coverage for $11.99 a month, will continue to exist as a less expensive alternative to the flagship ESPN streamer.

Disney says ESPN subscribers on cable/satellite and live streaming services will be able to use the new ESPN standalone app without an extra cost by inputting their pay TV user name and password. This is intended to help pay TV services from losing subscribers.

ESPN today did not provide a specific launch date for ESPN the streaming service, but it’s expected to be available by the NFL and college football seasons.
