Peacock Today Added 74 New Shows, Movies – Here Are the 3 to Watch

Peacock today has added 74 new TV shows and movies to its streaming lineup. Here are the three to watch today – and one to check out tomorrow and Saturday, in my humble opinion.

3 New Peacock Releases to Watch Today

Get Out (2017)
Daniel Kaluuya stars as a young black man who learns some scary secrets about his white girlfriend (Allison Williams) and her family when he visits their home. The Jordan Peele-directed horror/satire became an instant classic for its insightful and suspenseful take on racial paranoia (from both sides here) and miscommunication. Be prepared to laugh, think and occasionally jump out of your seat.

Saving Private Ryan (1998)
Directed by Steven Spielberg, Saving Private Ryan stars Tom Hanks as the captain of a World War II unit which must find a single soldier (Matt Damon) while navigating the horrors of war. There’s never been a better film on the sacrifice and unselfishness of America’s military and Hanks is especially good in lead. And the first 15 minutes, which depicts the D-Day invasion, immerses the viewer in battle unlike any scene before or since.

Schindler’s List (1993)
Spielberg’s poignant Holocaust drama tells the true story of Oskar Schindler, a German businessman who saves the lives of more than a thousand Jewish refugees. It is a haunting and powerful testament to the triumph of humanity and arguably Spielberg’s best film ever.

New Release to Watch On Friday On Peacock

Black Bag (2025)
Release Date: May 2
Michael Fassbender stars as a British intelligence officer who must investigate the possibility of traitors in the government including his wife, played by Cate Blanchett. Directed by arguably the most underrated director of his time, Steven Soderbergh, Black Bag is a taut thriller with characteristic cinematic flourishes from a master auteur. The movie, which fared poorly at the box office, will be a Peacock streaming exclusive. Don’t miss it.

New Release to Watch On Saturday On Peacock

The Kentucky Derby 2025
Release Date: May 3
As the child of NBC, Peacock will be the exclusive streaming home of NBC Sports’ broadcast of The Kentucky Derby on May 3 and The Preakness on May 17, the first two legs of horse racing’s annual Triple Crown. Journalism is the current favorite at 3-1 to take home the roses on May 3. But watch out for that track bias, Journalism.
