Updated: 29 MLB Teams Now Have a Standalone Streaming App – Here’s the List & Pricing Details

Reader question: Why Can’t I Subscribe Directly to MASN?
TV Answer Man, it drives me crazy that I have to get cable or satellite or Fubo to get MASN. I wish they would just do the right thing and let us subscribe directly to them and not have to get an expensive pay TV bundle of channels!! How many teams make you get a bundle subscription? – Sam, Landover, Maryland.

Update – On April 21, 2025, MASN announced it’s launching a standalone streaming app for the National and Orioles. See our article here for details.

The Houston Astros are now the only team without a DTV streaming app.

Below, I’ve broken down all 30 MLB teams, detailing which ones offer DTC streaming apps, their prices and what’s available in 2025.

MLB Teams With Direct-to-Consumer Streaming Apps In 2025

National League East
Washington Nationals
The Nats are on MASN which does not have a DTC app service. However, there have been reports the RSN is working on one.

UPDATE – MASN launches a DTC app on April 21, 2025. The cost is $19.99 a month or $89.99 for the rest of the 2025 season.

New York Mets
SNY, the regional TV home of the New York Mets, is now available in market as a direct-to-consumer (DTC) streaming service on the MLB TV app and MLB.TV. The cost is $124.99 for the season or $24.99 a month.

Atlanta Braves
For $19.99 per month, fans can subscribe to either FanDuel Sports Network South or FanDuel Sports Network Southeast which carry the Braves’ games. The full Season Pass starts at $105.99 beginning March 20. If you want spring training games, too, the full season is now $122.99.

Philadelphia Phillies
The Phillies are on NBC Sports Philadelphia which does not have a DTC service as of now. There have been reports that Peacock will stream the RSN at some point, but no announcements yet.

Miami Marlins
The Marlins are on FanDuel Sports which is available direct-to-consumer for $19.99 a month or $122.99 for the 2025 season.


National League Central


Chicago Cubs

The Cubbies are on the Marquee Sports Network which offers a direct-to-consumer service for $19.99 a month.

Cincinnati Reds
The Reds are on FanDuel Sports which is available direct-to-consumer for $19.99 a month or $122.99 for the 2025 season.

Pittsburgh Pirates
The Pirates are on SportsNet Pittsburgh (SNP 360) which offers a direct-to-consumer service for $17.99 a month.

St. Louis Cardinals
The Cards are on FanDuel Sports which is available direct-to-consumer for $19.99 a month or $122.99 for the 2025 season.

Milwaukee Brewers
The Brewers are on FanDuel Sports which is available direct-to-consumer for $19.99 a month or $122.99 for the 2025 season.

National League West

Los Angeles Dodgers
The Dodgers are on Spectrum SportsNet LA which does not offer a direct-to-consumer service.

Update: The Dodgers announced a standalone DTC service on March 17. Price is $29.99 a month or $199 for a season.

Arizona Diamondbacks
The Diamondbacks are available as a DTC service on MLB.TV for $19.99 a month or $99 a year.

San Francisco Giants
The Giants are on NBC Sports Bay Area and not available as a DTC service.

San Diego Padres
The Padres are available as a DTC service on MLB.TV for $19.99 a month or $99 a year.

Colorado Rockies
The Rockies are available as a DTC service on MLB.TV for $19.99 a month or $99 a year.

American League East

New York Yankees
The Yanks are on the Yes Network which is available as a DTC service (The Gotham Sports app) for $199.99 a year. As of March 26, it’s also available for $19.99 a month. See photo below.

Boston Red Sox
The Red Sox are on NESN which is available as a DTC service called NESN 360 for $29.99 a month or $239.99 a year.

Baltimore Orioles
The Orioles are on MASN which does not have a DTC service but reportedly is working on one.

Tampa Bay Rays
The Rays are on FanDuel Sports which is available direct-to-consumer for $19.99 a month or $122.99 for the 2025 season.

Toronto Blue Jays
The Blue Jays are on SportsNet Now which is available DTC for $199.99 a year or $24.99 a month.


American League Central


Cleveland Guardians

The Guardians are available as a DTC service on MLB.TV for $19.99 a month or $99.99 a year.

Detroit Tigers
The Tigers are on FanDuel Sports which is available direct-to-consumer for $19.99 a month or $122.99 for the 2025 season.

Minnesota Twins
The Twins are available as a DTC service on MLB.TV for $19.99 a month or $99.99 a year.

Kansas City Royals
The Royals are on FanDuel Sports which is available direct-to-consumer for $19.99 a month or $122.99 for the 2025 season.

Chicago White Sox
The White Sox are on Chicago Sports Network which offers a DTC app for $19.99 a month.

American League West

Houston Astros
The Astros are on Space City Home Network which does not offer a direct-to-consumer service.

Athletics
The A’s are on NBC Sports California which does not have a DTC service.

Los Angeles Angels
The Angels are on FanDuel Sports which is available direct-to-consumer for $19.99 a month or $122.99 for the 2025 season.

Texas Rangers
The Rangers are on the team’s new Rangers Sports Network. The team’s games will be available as a DTC streaming app on Victory+, now available for $100 for the 2025 season.

Seattle Mariners
The Mariners are on Root Sports which does not have a DTC streaming app.

Update: The Mariners announced on March 21 that they are launching a DTC service called Root Sports Stream. The price: $19.99 a month.
