Netflix this week (March 10-16, 2025) plans to add eight new TV shows and movies to its streaming lineup. Here’s the one you definitely don’t want to miss, in my humble opinion:

The Electric State – Netflix Original
Millie Bobby Brown (Stranger Things) returns to Netflixland in this sci-fi movie about a young woman who journeys across the American West to find her brother following a devastating war between humans and robots. Chris Pratt plays a smuggler who accompanies her. Directed by the Russo Brothers (Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War), The Electric State is sure to deliver top-notch action and every available CGI effect thanks to Netflix’s largesse. Debuts on Netflix on Friday, March 14.
More Netflix Picks For This Week
History buffs note that Netflix today (March 10) will add American Manhunt: Osama bin Laden, a documentary on the hunt for the mastermind behind the 9-11 attack on America. And comedy fans should watch out for Everybody’s Live with John Mulaney, the debut of the savvy comedian’s weekly Netflix talk show which will premiere on Wednesday, March 12 at 10 p.m. ET. Mulaney’s chatfest will air for 12 straight Wednesdays on the streamer. Finally, Netflix on Friday (March 14) will also add Audrey, the 2020 documentary on actress and humanitarian Audrey Hepburn.
