Super Bowl Weekend Streaming: 52 New Shows & Movies On Netflix, Hulu, Max, Prime Video, and Peacock – February 6-9, 2025

Hey, it may be Super Bowl weekend, but that doesn’t mean the big streamers are taking a vacation. Netflix, Hulu, Peacock, Amazon’s Prime Video and Max plan to add 52 new TV shows and movies from Thursday, February 6 to Sunday, February 9. Here are the three you don’t want to miss, in my humble opinion:

Apple Cider Vinegar – Netflix Original Series
Kaitlyn Dever (Justified, Dopesick) stars as a wellness expert who shocks the world by claiming to cure her brain cancer with a special diet. The problem is, she never actually had brain cancer. Based on a true story, Apple Cider Vinegar sounds like the perfect vehicle to highlight the superficiality of social media. And if you’re not familiar with Dever’s work, she’s an exciting actress who seems to get more interesting with every role. Debuts on Netflix on Thursday, February 6.

The Kardashians, Season 6 (Hulu Original)
I’m not a Kardashian fan, but I can’t deny the appeal of Kim, Kourtney, Khloe, Kylie, Kendall, and Kris to the masses. So you’ve been duly informed that season six of the dysfunctional family semi-reality show returns to Hulu on February 6. The Hulu PR team says season six will focus on the motley crew dealing with “uncertain futures.” They’re billionaires. How uncertain can it be? Debuts on Hulu on Thursday, February 6.

Puppy Bowl XXI – Animal Planet on Max
What’s become a Super Bowl tradition, this year’s Puppy Bowl will pit Team Ruff vs. Team Fluff as they compete for the ‘Lombarkey Trophy.’ Max, a sister service to Discovery’s Animal Planet, which produces the event, will have all the action. Debuts at 2 p.m. ET on Sunday, February 9.
