Paramount Plus to Add 98 New Titles In February 2025: Here Are 3 You Can’t Miss

Paramount Plus, the streaming service with plans starting at $7.99 a month, this month (February 2025) plans to add 98 new TV shows and movies. Here are the three most interesting new additions, in my humble opinion:
67th Annual Grammy Awards**
The music industry’s annual salute to itself will air Sunday, February 2 (tonight) on CBS and Paramount Plus (for subscribers with the Showtime plan), starting at 8 p.m. ET. Charli XCX, Sabrina Carpenter, Billie Eilish and Chappell Roan are expected to perform while Will Smith, Stevie Wonder and Janelle Monae will pay tribute to Quincy Jones, the legendary producer who died last November. Debuts Sunday, February 2 at 8 p.m. ET. Red carpet coverage at 7 p.m.
Yellowjackets, season three premiere* – Showtime original
The Showtime original drama tells the tale of a group of girl high school soccer players whose plane crashes in the uncharted northern wilderness. The feisty females soon go all Lord of the Flies on each other, engaging in actions that will haunt them for years after their rescue. I watched season one and found Yellowjackets original and daring with strong acting from the ensemble cast, particularly Juliette Lewis, Melanie Lynskey and Christine Ricci. However, season two stalled for me due to an overemphasis on their current lives. But the producers say season three will get back to the wild which means more action and more Lord of the Flies. Debuts Friday, February 14 with two episodes. Future episodes to air on following Fridays.
1923, Season two premiere – Paramount Plus original
Harrison Ford stars as the patriarch of the Dutton family who made their TV debut in the smash Paramount Network hit, Yellowstone, with modern day rancher Kevin Costner in lead. In this prequel set in the 1920s, Ford and his wife (Helen Mirren) are ranchers who battle the advent of The Great Depression and other forces (natural and not so natural) that threatened to destroy their land. Season two, which will be the last in the series, debuts on Sunday, February 23.
