Netflix to Add 93 New Titles In January 2025 – Here Are the 4 Most Interesting

Netflix in January 2025 plans to add 93 new TV shows and movies to its streaming lineup. Here are the four most interesting, in my humble opinion:

WWE RAW: 2025
Netflix’s much-anticipated debut of WWE Monday Night RAW will stream Monday, January 6, at 8 p.m. ET. The first episode will include such wrasslin’ warriors as John Cena, Cody Rhodes, CM Punk and Roman Reigns as well as YouTuber Logan Paul (brother to Jake). The show will be live so Netflix is hoping for an NFL Christmas technical performance rather than a Tyson-Paul debacle. The streamer has committed $500 million per year over 10 years for the WWE RAW rights. Debuts January 6.

American Primeval (Netflix original series)
Taylor Kitsch stars as a frontiersman in 1850s Oregon who will do anything to protect his land and loved ones from mercenaries and Native Americans. The six-part series, directed by Peter Berg (who has teamed with Kitsch on multiple projects, including Friday Night Lights), promises to chronicle the violent clash of cultures and religions in shaping the American West. The supporting cast includes Betty Gilpin, Shea Whigham and Dane DeHaan. Debuts January 9.

Back In Action (Netflix original film)
Jamie Foxx and Cameron Diaz star as former CIA spies who are pulled back into espionage when their cover is blown. The comedy/action film is ably titled for it marks Diaz’s first movie role in 10 years and Foxx recently recovered from a near-death illness. Debuts January 17. 

Missing You (Netflix original series)
Rosalind Eleazar stars as Kat Donovan, a detective who discovers her fiance (Ashley Walters) is on a dating site — 11 years after he disappeared. You might say she’s not much of a detective if it took her 11 years to find him, and on a dating site to boot. Well, I thought that, too, but the five-episode mystery/thriller series gets even more intriguing when you hear Kat is in charge of the missing persons department, that her father has been murdered, and her long-buried secrets are starting to surface. Whoa, Nellie. Whoa, Kat.  Debuts Wednesday, January 1.
