Paramount Just Aired the Yellowstone Finale – Now Where Can You Watch It?

TV Answer Man, I missed the Yellowstone final last night! Do you know how you can watch it now? Is it on Paramount Plus or Peacock?  — Steve, Fairfax, Virginia.

Steve, the Paramount Network, the basic cable channel, last night aired season five, episode 14 of Yellowstone, better known as the modern western’s series finale. Since you haven’t seen it, I won’t destroy your day with any episode spoilers but the 90-minute conclusion is drawing mixed reviews from fans and critics today. There’s even disagreement over whether this is truly the end for the show. But until Paramount says otherwise, it’s going down as the series finale.

So, how can you watch it now?

Is it on Paramount Plus? Or Peacock, which has carried past episodes of Yellowstone?

Answer: No and no. There’s only one way to watch the Yellowstone finale now (unless you recorded it). If your TV provider carries the Paramount Network, you can access the episode through its On Demand menu. If your provider doesn’t carry the channel, you’re out of luck. The Yellowstone series finale is not available on Paramount Plus, Peacock or any other subscription Video On Demand service such as Hulu, Netflix or Max.

Paramount’s decision not to stream new episodes on Paramount Plus has baffled many fans but the company is anxious to boost the value of its basic cable network. And having the last Yellowstone as an exclusive certainly does that.

Peacock has a licensing deal with Paramount that enables it to carry the first four seasons of Yellowstone and the first eight episodes of season five. But Peacock does not have S5, episodes 9-14, including the finale. At least not yet.
