DIRECTV Stream Adds 6 More Free Channels

DIRECTV’s streaming services have added six more ads-supported free channels to their lineups:  Fail Army, At Home With Family Handyman, Horror by Alter, Love Nature, Players TV: Athletes On Demand, and The Pet Collective.

The six channels are now available to Entertainment plan and above subscribers to DIRECTV Stream and DIRECTV via Internet service as well as DIRECTV’s streaming app for satellite customers.

DIRECTV has bolstered its streaming lineups with a few dozen free channels over the last several months. The channels are called free because they are also available on such free services as Pluto TV and Tubi.

Here’s a brief description of the six channels just added to DIRECTV’s streaming services:

Fail Army (channel 4301)
The channel features short videos of pranks, epic falls and other bits found amusing by select audiences.

At Home With Family Handman (channel 4367)
The channel features videos of home designs, and do-it-yourself tips on how to improve what’s under your roof.

Horror By Alter (channel 4221)
Featuring low-budget horror films such as The Night of Living Dead and Wishmaster, Horror By Alter is the destination for fans easily scared but not prone to looking too closely.

Love Nature (channel 4470)
If you love videos of wild animals, you’ll love Love Nature.

Players TV: Athletes On Demand (channel 4190)
The channel is devoted to showcasing the lifestyles of rich athletes.

The Pet Collective (channel 4721)
TPC features videos of pets at play.
