Netflix, Hulu and Max, three of the leading streaming services, today have added 12 new titles combined. But there’s only one worth watching, in my humble opinion. And it is:

Receiver (Netflix Original)
Netflix follows up its well-reviewed Quarterback documentary series with an eight-episode installment on NFL receivers, featuring Davante Adams, Justin Jefferson, George Kittle, Deebo Samuel and Amon-Ra St. Brown. The show, a joint effort from NFL Films and Peyton Manning’s Omaha Productions, chronicles their 2023 seasons both on and off the field. Netflix has been slow to embrace live sports due to fears of overspending and other issues. But it should be noted that its sports documentaries are on par with anyone, including ESPN. Don’t pass on Receiver. Debuts Wednesday, July 10.
