NBC, CBS, Fox, CW & ABC Add 16 New Shows Tonight – Here Are the 3 to Watch

CBS, The CW, Fox, NBC and ABC tonight (December 17, 2025) will add 16 new shows to their lineups. Here are the three to watch, in my humble opinion:

Presidential Address to the Nation – All Networks
Air Time: 9 p.m. ET
President Trump announced yesterday on Truth Social that he will address the nation in a speech tonight from the Oval Office. The subject is unknown but it could be the Trump Administration’s military intervention in Venezuela to halt that country’s manufacture and distribution of Fentanyl. Or it could be something completely different (medical issue; Cabinet shake-up; illegal aliens; outer space aliens; who knows?) You’ll have to tune in to find out.

IHeartRadio Jingle Ball 2025 – ABC
Air Time: 8 p.m. ET
ABC tonight will air the live IHeartRadio holiday concert filmed last Friday night from New York’s Madison Square Garden, featuring performances from Alex Warren, Zara Larson, Sean Paul, Ed Sheeran, Nelly, Monsta X and a slew of others. And that’s not all. The show will include special appearances from a motley crew of celebrities such as Robert De Niro, Eli Manning, Kat Dennings, Dylan Efron, and the cast of Hulu’s show, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. (Told you it was a motley crew.)

Christmas In Nashville – NBC
Air Time: Immediately following the president’s speech.
The peacock network will try to match ABC’s musical spectacular with its own telecast of tunes, including country-themed performances from Trisha Yearwood, Lauren Alaina, Trace Adkins, and Bill Murray (!) singing Blue Christmas.
