Netflix to Add 33 New Shows & Movies This Week – Here Are the 3 to Watch

Netflix this week (November 9-15, 2025) plans to add 33 new TV shows and movies to its streaming lineup. Here are the three to watch, in my humble opinion:

Being Eddie – Netflix Original Documentary
Release Date: Wednesday, November 12
Eddie Murphy has certainly had an up-and-down career, climbing the heights on Saturday Night Live and in movies such as Beverly Hills Cop and The Nutty Professor and then plunging into Hollywood Hell with such flops as The Adventures of Pluto Nash and Holy Man. This Wednesday, Netflix will premiere a new documentary of the comedian who will offer a candid perspective of his nearly 50 years in comedy. Arsenio Hall, Chris Rock, Dave Chappelle, Jamie Foxx, Jerry Seinfeld, Kevin Hart, and Tracee Ellis Ross will also offer their insights.

The Beast In Me (Netflix Original Series)
Release Date: Thursday, November 13
Claire Danes stars as a famous author who abandons the limelight after the death of her son. But her big-book instincts return when she discover her neighbor (Matthew Rhys from The Americans) is a real estate tycoon who was the prime suspect in his wife’s disappearance. Her search for his truth turns into a cat-and-mouse game with possibly deadly consequences.

Nouvelle Vague (Netflix Original Film)
Release Date: Friday, November 14
Quirky auteur Richard Linklater presents his love letter to the great Jean-Luc Godard with this drama-comedy about the making of Godard’s brilliant 1959 movie, Breathless. Zoey Deutch plays the troubled Jean Seberg; Aubry Dullin is Jean-Paul Belmondo; and Guillaume Marbeck is Godard. This might be for film buffs only, but Linklater is a delicious treat if you get him. And I get him.

#NouvelleVague is a vintage Richard Linklater hangout movie, this time for cinephiles instead of stoners or athletes or lovers.
