Will DIRECTV Show The Masters In 4K?

John, The Masters will be held this year between Thursday, April 10 (round one) through Sunday, April 13 (final round) from the Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia. During the last several years, DIRECTV has offered exclusive select coverage of the most prestigious golf tournament of the year in 4K and 2025 will be no different.

On each day of the event next week, DIRECTV’s satellite and streaming services will air coverage of the Amen Corner (holes 11, 12 and 13) and holes 15 and 16 in 4K. The Amen Corner will be available on channel 105 while holes 15 and 16 will be on channel 106. (ESPN, CBS and Paramount Plus will provide HD coverage of the entire tournament; you can see a TV schedule here.)

Update: 4K coverage on DIRECTV begins Thursday, April 10, at 10:45 a.m. ET.

The Masters tournament is not available in 4K on any other TV provider.

What Is DIRECTV’s Mosaic Coverage?

DIRECTV satellite will also provide a high-def multi-screen view (‘the Mosaic’) of the tournament which will show different holes and players at the same time. The multi-screen will be available on channel 901.

In addition to airing the traditional broadcasts of The Masters on CBS and ESPN, DIRECTV’s satellite service will offer HD feeds for CBS/ESPN on channel 902; ”Featured Groups” HD coverage on channel 903; Amen Corner HD coverage on channel 904; and HD coverage of holes 15 and 16 on channel 905.

The channels 901-905 are not available on DIRECTV via Internet or DIRECTV Stream.
