Max to Add 20 New Titles This Week – Here Are the 3 Highlights

Max, the streaming service formerly known as HBO Max, this week (January 12-18, 2025) plans to add 20 new TV shows and movies to its lineup.

The week’s highlights include Becoming Hitchcock: The Legacy of Blackmail, a documentary that examines how director Alfred Hitchcock’s 1929 film, Blackmail, offers a sneak peek at the auteur’s decades-long passion for intrigue and mystery; A Different Man, the 2024 movie starring Sebastian Stan as a disfigured man who discovers the hard way that plastic surgery only cures surface scars; and the season 23 debut of Real Time with Bill Maher, the chat show starring the polarizing humorist.
