TV Answer Man, you wrote last week that YouTube would have a free trial for the Sunday Ticket but I can’t find it! Where is it? — Tony, Las Vegas.

Tony, YouTube today did begin offering a one-week free trial to the 2024 NFL Sunday Ticket, but you have to know where to look. Plus, when you find it, there’s a catch.

The free trial offer does not appear on the main NFL Sunday Ticket page, at least not as of 9 a.m. ET today (September 5). However, when you click on the Get It Now or Get Both Now buttons, the free trial is noted at the top of the checkout page.

But here’s the catch: The free trial is only available to new users, not former or current subscribers to the Sunday Ticket. Plus, it requires a single payment only, not the monthly payment plan. However, the free trial is available to new users for either the YouTube TV Ticket bundle or the YouTube Primetime Channels’ Ticket.

The NFL Sunday Ticket now has a free trial.

(The Ticket on YouTube TV is now priced at $379; YouTube TV is $72.99 a month. YouTube Primetime Channels’ Ticket is $479, but you can get $50 off with the promo code, TICKET50.) In addition, you can get a free trial with the NFL RedZone/Ticket bundle on either service. It costs $40 extra to add the RedZone channel if you keep the subscription after the free trial.

The first Sunday of the NFL regular season is September 8. Note that if you don’t cancel your Ticket subscription prior to the end of the seven-day free trial, you will be billed for the entire season.
