Amazon’s Prime Video to Add 10 New Titles This Week – Here’s the 3 Most Interesting

Amazon’s Prime Video this week (September 9-15, 2024) plans to add 10 new TV shows and movies to its streaming lineup. Here are the three most interesting, in my humble opinion.

Thursday Night Football: Bills vs. Dolphins
Amazon again will have the exclusive rights to the NFL’s Thursday Night Football games (following game one on September 5 between the Ravens and Chiefs on NBC/Peacock) and it’s starting off with a banger: The Buffalo Bills led by trash talking and celebrity dating QB Josh Allen visit the freewheeling offense of the Miami Dolphins led by left- handed QB Tua Tagovailoa and WR Tyreek Hill who finished second in the league in receptions in 2023. The Bills won their season opener yesterday, 34-28, against the Cardinals while the Dolphins beat the Jaguars, 20-17. Thursday night should be a high scoring game and the pre-game coverage begins at 7 p.m. ET on Thursday, September 12. Kickoff shortly after 8 p.m. ET.

The Money Game
Co-produced by Shaquille O’Neal’s Jersey Legends, the Amazon original docuseries will examine the impact that NIL (athletes getting paid for marketing relationships) has had on college sports, specifically the 2023/24 LSU program. And what a program to highlight for this particular subject with such high-profile LSU stars as gymnast Olivia Dunne, women’s basketball star Angel Reese, pitcher Paul Skenes and outfielder Dylan Crews, and Heisman Trophy winning QB Jayden Daniels. Debuts Tuesday, September 10.

The Grand Tour: One for the Road (2024)
The automotive enthusiast series comes to an end as Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May take one last ride for the cameras after 22 years of television. In this final episode, the three motor through Zimbabwe in a Lancia Montecarlo, a Ford Capri 3-litre, and a Triumph Stag. Debuts Friday, September 13.
