Peacock, the NBCUniversal operated streaming service that starts at $5.99 a month, plans to remove two dozen movies from its lineup after Friday, May 31. Here are the four you want to watch before they leave, in my humble opinion:

The Hurt Locker (2008)
The brilliant 2008 Iraqi war drama stars Jeremy Renner as a munitions specialist who’s ready to blow. There have been many films that strive to show the horrors of war after the soldier comes home but few have done it better than The Hurt Locker. Renner’s character becomes addicted to war’s adrenaline rush and is never able to live normally again. It’s a great performance.

Fletch (1985)
The 1985 comedy film stars Chevy Chase at the height of his powers as investigative journalist Irwin ‘Fletch’ Fletcher. The supporting cast includes Tim Matheson (whose role in Animal House was originally set for Chevy), Joe Don Baker and a towel-clad Dana Wheeler-Nicholson who probably still smirks when she thinks about CC ‘hitting’ that water buffalo with his car.

Wonder Woman (2017)
The 2017 Wonder Woman starring Gal Gadot in the title role is a treat for the entire family. Directed by Patty Jenkins, the film follows WW as she saves the world from evil forces with a charming Chris Pine at her side. Fun flick.

Mission: Impossible (1996)
Director Brian De Palma’s original Mission Impossible film laid the foundation for the franchise’s success. Tom Cruise as secret agent Ethan Hunt finds himself embroiled in a web of betrayal and deceit. The iconic scenes, such as the daring wire descent into a secure room and the suspenseful train sequence, remain gripping nearly three decades later. (Peacock is also removing Mission Impossible 4 this week.)
