Since the 2024 NFL schedule was released last night, you might be feeling more tempted now to get the 2024 Sunday Ticket. Well, if you are, today is the last day you can get the package of out-of-market NFL games for just $179, which is the plan’s biggest discount ever..

Yes, YouTube TV is now offering new customers $170 off the price of the 2024 NFL Sunday Ticket if they bundle it with a YouTube TV subscription. However, the promotional price, which would bring the Ticket’s price to $179, ends today at 11:59 a.m. ET.

Now you might say, hey TV Answer Man, wouldn’t I have to pay for a YouTube TV sub ($72.99 a month) between now and the end of the season to get that discount? The answer: No, you would not.

If you get YouTube TV now, and include the Sunday Ticket for $179, you can immediately pause your YouTube TV subscription for up to six months. That means you could take advantage of the lower Ticket price but not have to pay for YouTube TV until September when the season begins except for the first month’s payment. (Like most streaming services, YouTube TV will charge you for your first month even if you cancel or pause immediately after signing up.)

So you would pay $57.99 for the first month of YouTube TV (current promotional price) but then not have to start paying $72.99 a month for the streaming plan until September. This would save you at least two months (July and August) of YouTube TV payments.

The current promotion also includes $100 off if you order the Sunday Ticket via YouTube Primetime Channels, which would reduce that price from $449 to $349. YouTube Primetime Channels’ version of the Ticket does not require a YouTube TV subscription, which is why the Ticket’s price is higher for YouTube Primetime Channels.

YouTube TV and YouTube Primetime Channels are also offering existing customers a $100 discount on the 2024 Sunday Ticket price. However, to get the discount, YouTube says you must cancel your auto renewal in your settings, and then subscribe again for the 2024 season. When you do that, you will see the $100 discount at checkout.

All discounts for all new and existing customers are scheduled to end today.
