TV Answer Man, I know YouTube TV is having a big discount for the Sunday Ticket for new customers. But what about existing customers, people who had the Ticket in 2023? Can we get a discount? — Neal, Albany, New York.
Neal, YouTube TV is now offering new customers $170 off the price of the 2024 NFL Sunday Ticket if they bundle the package of out-of-market Sunday afternoon games with a YouTube TV subscription. (If you purchase the Sunday Ticket with a YouTube TV sub, you must maintain the YouTube TV sub to watch the Ticket, although you can pause your sub for up to six months.) YouTube Primetime Channels is offering the Ticket now for $349 for new customers, which is $100 off. (The discount is good until Thursday, May 16.)
But what about existing customers? People who subscribed to the Sunday Ticket in 2023? Can they get a discount, too?
Answer: Yes. YouTube TV and YouTube Primetime Channels are offering existing customers a $100 discount on the 2024 Sunday Ticket price. However, to get the discount, YouTube says you must cancel your auto renewal in your settings, and then subscribe again for the 2024 season. When you do that, you will see the $100 discount at checkout.
The $100 discount will bring the Ticket’s price to $249 on YouTube TV and $349 on YouTube Primetime Channels.
