Netflix this month (March 2024) plans to add 104 new TV shows and movies to its streaming lineup. Here are the three most interesting, in my humble opinion:
The Gentlemen
Inspired by Guy Ritchie’s 2019 film of the same name, the Netflix original series (also from Mr. Ritchie) stars Theo James as Mickey Pearson, an American who heads a thriving but illegal marijuana business in London. Pearson wants out of the biz but soon finds that’s easier said than done. Ritchie, who serves as a writer and director on this series, is famous for successfully mixing crime and comedy (Snatch, Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels) and The Gentlemen should serve up much of both. Debuts March 7.

3 Body Problem
The Netflix original sci-fi series, based on the best-selling novel, Remembrance of Earth’s Past, follows a band of five brilliant scientists who must prepare for an alien invasion that could end Earth’s existence. The show is getting lots of buzz and could be the next must-see for the sci-fi crowd. Debuts March 21.
Rafael Nadal will be a featured player in the Netflix Slam in March.
The Netflix Slam
The streamer returns to the sports arena in March when it live streams ‘The Netflix Slam,’ which will feature a tennis exhibition match between Spaniards Rafael Nadal and Carlos Alcaraz. The event, which will be held at 3 p.m. ET on March 3, 2024, will originate from the Michelob ULTRA Arena at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. Netflix says it will be a dual broadcast for English and Spanish speaking markets and it will include additional players and matchups.
