HBO Max just added 273 new movies to its lineup, including countless classics and cult favorites.
The films, which were added over the weekend, include Blade Runner: The Final Cut, director Ridley Scott’s retake on the 1982 sci-fi thriller starring Harrison Ford; Casablanca, the 1942 drama starring Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman as star-crossed lovers who must choose between saving their romance and saving the world; Citizen Kane, Orson Welles’ masterpiece film chronicling the rise and fall of an American media mogul (based on William Randolph Hearst); and A Clockwork Orange, the classic and controversial black comedy about behavioral manipulation from director Stanley Kubrick
Also new and notable: Caddyshack, the hilarious and drug-fueled send-up of country club life starring Chevy Chase, Bill Murray, Ted Knight and Rodney Dangerfield; Chaplin, the 1992 biodrama starring Robert Downey Jr. in the title role (which netted him an Oscar nomination) as the legendary comedian; The Departed, the Martin Scorsese crime drama with Jack Nicholson, Matt Damon and Leonardo DiCaprio playing cat and mouse in mob-run Boston in the 1970s; The Dark Knight, director Chris Nolan’s angst and adrenaline-fueled drama with Christian Bale as Batman going toe to toe with The Joker, played deliciously by the late Heath Ledger; and The Shining, the chilling horror film from the aforementioned director Stanley Kubrick starring Jack Nicholson and Shelley Duvall.

There’s also 2001: A Space Odyssey, A Streetcar Named Desire, Bullit, National Lampoon’s Vacation, North by Northwest, The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Dirty Harry…the list just goes on and on.
