Amazon next month (November 2019) plans to add 66 new TV shows and movies to its Prime streaming lineup, including eight originals and three NFL Thursday Night games.

The new titles will include season one of Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan (pictured above), an Amazon original which stars John Krasinski in the title role as a CIA analyst forced into the field by global tensions.

“If the cinematic Ryans of the 1990s couldn’t fully sell his incompetence, Krasinski’s version of the character makes a more convincing case that it’s his brains, not his combat skills, that set him apart as an American hero,” writes Sophie Gilbert of The Atlantic.

Also notable in November: Season four of the Man In the High Castle, an Amazon original show that examines how the United States would have fared if Nazi Germany had won World War II.

Season three of the ‘what-if?’ drama scored a 86 out of a possible 100 at, based on a survey of 25 critics.

“The crafty addition of minor sci-fi elements and a terrific William Forsythe to the show’s already engrossing narrative make The Man in the High Castle’s third season another worthy binge,” the site states, summarizing the reviews.
