Netflix This Week: 63 New Titles, 15 Originals

Netflix this week (September 29-October 5) plans to add 63 new TV shows and movies to its streaming lineup, including (Note: Netflix labels a show an ‘original’ even if it first airs in another country, but airs first on Netflix in the United States.)

The new titles will include season five of Peaky Binders (pictured above), the British-made drama based on the real life crime gang that ruled Birmingham, England after World War I. (Note: Netflix has the exclusive rights to air season five in the U.S. so it calls it a ‘Netflix original.’ However, the show first aired in Great Britain on the BBC.)

“While Peaky Blinders’s fifth season suffers somewhat from superficial characterization, it remains one of TVs most visually thrilling endeavors,” the site writes, summarizing the 16 reviews.
