Amazon Prime In August 2019: 57 New Titles

Amazon next month (August 2019) plans to add 57 new TV shows and movies to its Prime streaming lineup, including 10 originals.

The new titles will include season one of Carnival Row (pictured above), an Amazon original drama which features an epic struggle between mythical creatures and humans with Orlando Bloom and Cara Delevingne in the starring roles. The show, which is designed to highlight the current debate over illegal immigration in the United States, will premiere on August 30.

Also notable in August 2019: Episode one of This Is Football, an Amazon original six-part documentary on soccer’s powerful impact around the globe; season one of Free Meek, an Amazon original documentary on the arrest of rapper Meek Mill in 2017; and Jim Gaffigan: Quality Time, an Amazon original comedy special featuring the aforementioned comedian.
