DIRECTV to Air MLS All-Star Game In 4K HDR

DIRECTV has announced that it will air the 2019 Major League Soccer All-Star Game in 4K HDR.

The game, which takes place at 8 p.m. ET on July 31 at the Orlando City Stadium in Orlando, Florida, will pit the best players of the MLS against Atletico De Madrid, one of Spain’s top clubs.

The MLS All-Star team will feature such players as DC United’s Wayne Rooney, Atlanta United’s Josef Martinez, and Chris Wondolowski of the San Jose Earthquakes.

DIRECTV says it will offer the 4K HDR broadcast of the game on channel 105. FS1 will simulcast the match in High-Definition.

In related news, the satellite TV service also plans to offer 4K coverage of the U.S. Open golf tournament from July 18 to 21.
