The subscription Video on Demand service said the audio feature is now available on all Hulu original programs, and select movies and TV shows in the Hulu catalog. Hulu does not specify at its web site which non-original shows are now available in Dolby Digital.

PlayStation 4 (all models)
Samsung TV (select models)
VIZIO SmartCast TVs
Xbox One (all models)

To enable surround sound on these devices, you’ll need to select a 5.1 compatible option from audio output settings.

While the addition of Dolby Digital 5.1 will please audiophiles, Hulu still does not offer programming in 4K or 4K HDR.

Update: Hulu adds 4K titles on two devices.
