Netflix this week plans to add 15 new TV shows and movies to its streaming service, including 11 ‘originals.’ (Note: Netflix labels a show an ‘original’ even if it first airs in another country, but airs first on Netflix in the United States.)
The new titles will include season four of Lucifer, a Netflix original drama that continues the saga of a detective-assisting Devil on Earth (Tom Ellis). Fox aired the first three seasons; after the network canceled the show, Netflix picked it up.. Look for what was a spicy show for network television to get even more spicy minus the censors who patrol Fox Television.
Also notable coming this week to Netflix: Remastered: The Lion’s Share, a Netflix original documentary about a reporter who tries to help the family of a deceased song writer (Solomon Linda, writer of “The Lion Sleeps Tonight”) get a larger royalty for his work.
