Amazon this week plans to add five new TV shows and movies to its Prime streaming lineup, including an original horror film that will keep you on your toes. (Forgive the pun.)

The new titles will include Suspiria, an Amazon original movie starring Dakota Johnson as a disturbed young woman who enrolls in a dance school run by evil witches (wait, isn’t every dance school run by evil witches?). The film, which opened in theaters in 2018, is a reboot of the 1977 film from Italian director Dario Argento.

RottenTomatoes.com, which tracks critical reviews, gave the new version a score of 66 out of a possible 100 based on surveys of 293 critics. (In case you’re wondering, the original received a score of 93 based on 56 reviews.)

“Suspiria attacks heady themes with garish vigor, offering a viewing experience that’s daringly confrontational – and definitely not for everyone,” the site writes, summarizing the reviews.
