The new titles will include episode three of The Act, which stars Patricia Arquette as an overprotective mother whose concern for her daughter (Joey King) leads to murder. The show, which is based on a real-life case, has generated a score of 90 out of a possible 100 at RottenTomatoes.com. Twenty-six of 29 critics surveyed by the site, which tracks critical reviews, say they like the show.

The Act’s “disturbingly nuanced performances from Patricia Arquette and Joey King make The Act a convincing case for the ongoing dramatization of true crime stories,” Rottentomatoes.com writes, summarizing the critical reviews.

Also notable this week: Abby’s, a new comedy from NBC which stars Natalie Morales as a acerbic bartender. (Are there any other kind?)
