Hulu Adding 13 New Titles This Week

Hulu this week plans to add 13 new TV shows and movies to its subscription Video on Demand service, including one original.

The new titles will include the complete series premiere of The Shrill, a Hulu original comedy which stars Saturday Night Live’s Aidy Bryant as a full-figured woman who tries to change her life, and everyone else.

Also notable this week: Free Solo, a National Geographic documentary film featuring rock climber Alex Honnold as he attempts a solo trek up the El Capitan in the Yosemite National Park. The movie was named Best Documentary Feature at the 91st Academy Awards

RottenTomatoes.com, which tracks critical reviews, gives the documentary a score of 99 out of a possible 100 based on 134 reviews.

“Free Solo depicts athletic feats that many viewers will find beyond reason – and grounds the attempts in passions that are all but universal,” the site states, summarizing the reviews.
