Netflix this week plans to add 21 new TV shows and movies to its streaming lineup, including 18 originals.
The new title list will include Roma (pictured above), a Netflix original dramatic film directed by Alfonso Cuaron (Children of God, Gravity).

The movie, which is based on Cuaron’s childhood in Mexico City, is already a critical smash, scoring a 98 out of a possible 100 at RottenTomatoes.com. One hundred and eighty-eight critics out of 191 surveyed by the site said they liked Roma.

“Roma achieves the rare feat of making the personal authentically political, not through explicit polemic or tortured metaphors, but simply by observing life with enough perspective to reflect it in all its contradictions,” writes Ann Hornaday of The Washington Post. ”
Other notable additions this week: Inside the Real Narcos, a Netflix original documentary based on the streamer’s original drug drama, Narcos; season four of Fuller House, the Netflix original reboot of the 1980s ABC sitcom; and season three of Travelers, a Netflix original sci-fi drama about time travelers.
