Netflix next month plans to add 97 new TV shows and movies to its streaming lineup, including 57 originals.
The new title list for November will include the series finale season of House of Cards, which will star Robin Wright minus Kevin Spacey who was unceremoniously pulled from the show following sex abuse allegations. House of Cards, which once was a powerful drawing card for Netflix, has sputtered in recent seasons and it seems unlikely that the final season without Spacey will change that trend. But we’ll see.

Also notable in November: The Ballad of Buster Scruggs (pictured above), the Coens Bros’ made-for-Netflix western anthology film starring Tim Blake Nelson, James Franco, Zoe Kazan and Tom Waits. The six-chapter movie is likely to serve up the Coens’ usual mix of black comedy and stark drama with a side order of irony. No one does quirky like Ethan and Joel Coen and their first project for Netflix is much-anticipated.

Netflix in November will also debut The Other Side of the Wind, an Orson Welles-directed film which the great auteur was unable to finish during his lifetime. Netflix, however, stepped in and provided the funding for a successful completion. John Huston stars in the film as a charismatic and alcoholic director who seems to have as much trouble finishing a movie as Welles himself. (Or perhaps Huston himself.)
The streaming service will also bring back its cartel drug drama, Narcos, for another season in November. This installment will be based in Mexico.
