Hulu Adding 15 New Titles This Week

Hulu this week plans to add 15 new TV shows and movies to its subscription Video on Demand service, including an original drama.

The new titles for the week will include season one of The First (pictured above), a Hulu original dramatic series starring Sean Penn and Natascha McElhone as astronauts seeking the becoming the first to land on Mars. The show was created by House of Cards creator, Beau Willimon.

Is The First any good?

Variety writes that “after the initial statement of purpose…the show falls victim to both pacing problems and a certain lopsidedness.” However, Quartz.com says The First is a “moving, sincere reminder of human potential.”
