DIRECTV will air this month’s PGA Championship golf tournament in 4K HDR for the first time ever, the satcaster has announced at its web site.

The tournament will take place at the Bellerive County Club in St. Louis, Missouri from Thursday, August 8th, through Sunday, August 12th.

Players expected to compete include Tiger Woods, Rickie Fowler, Dustin Johnson, Tony Finau, Rory McLlroy and Justin Rose.

DIRECTV’s 4K HDR broadcast schedule will features holes 16, 17 and 18 on each day of the tournament. Coverage will air from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. ET on Thursday and Friday and from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. ET on Saturday and Sunday.

The 4K coverage can be seen on DIRECTV’s dedicated live 4K channel, which is 106.

In addition to the PGA, DIRECTV will air the following Major League Baseball games in 4K HDR during the month:

8/2 – New York Yankees @ Boston Red Sox, 7 pm ET on ch. 106
8/3 – New York Yankees @ Boston Red Sox, 7 pm ET on ch. 106
8/4 – New York Yankees @ Boston Red Sox (4K only), 4 pm ET on ch. 106
8/14 – Boston Red Sox @ Philadelphia Phillies, 7 pm ET on ch. 106
8/21 – Cleveland Indian @ Boston Red Sox, 7 pm ET on ch. 106
