Sling TV has added two news channels to its live streaming lineup: Newsmax and Free Speech TV.
The Dish-owned service says the two channels are now included in its News Extra add-on plan, which costs $5 a month in addition to a subscriber’s base package. However, Sling is offering a free preview of both channels through August 24 to subscribers of its Orange and Blue base packages.
Sling’s Orange plan starts at $20-a-month and includes ESPN and roughly 30 cable networks. The base Blue package costs $25-a-month, and includes more than 40 channels including live network feeds in select markets as well as several Fox channels.
Newsmax offers daily news reports and documentaries with a conservative viewpoint. Free Speech TV delivers news and analysis with a liberal slant.
