Amazon & Hulu Adding 9 New Titles This Week

Hulu and Amazon this week plan to add nine new TV shows and movies to their streaming lineups, including two original programs from Amazon

The new title list will include season one of Picnic at Hanging Rock (pictured above), an Amazon original drama about the disappearance of three children and a teacher in 1900. Natalie Dormer, who starred in Game of Thrones, will play an English schoolmaster whose revered institution is turned upside down after an investigation into the mystery.

“The magic of Picnic at Hanging Rock lies in the not knowing, a sort of withheld resolution that nudged other open-ended stories, such as Twin Peaks, from works of art to genuine masterpieces,” writes Michael Idato of the Sydney Morning Herald.

Also notable this week: Season two of Dino Dana, an Amazon original series about a group of children who explore for dinosaurs.
