Hulu is now selling a subscription to HBO for just $4.99 a month in a limited-time offer.

It’s unclear how long the promotion will last. But Hulu says at its web site that current and new subscribers can now lock in HBO at the discounted price for six months. After that, the price would return to its regular $15 a month.

The offer is available to both subscribers of Hulu’s live streaming service ($40 a month for 50 channels), and its subscription Video on Demand service, which stars at $7.99 a month.

Time Warner, one of Hulu’s four owners, also owns HBO, a synergetic relationship which likely paved the way for the discounted offer.

The HBO discount comes less than two weeks before the premiere of season two of Westworld (pictured above). The critically-praised sci-fi western return to HBO on April 22.
