Hulu Live is now available on all 2017 and 2018 LG Smart TVs with webOS, and select 2016 models.
The live streaming service, which costs $40 a month, offers more than 50 live channels as well as access to Hulu’s subscription Video on Demand service.
“As interest in streaming live events continues to rise, we are offering LG smart TV owners a seamless solution that enables them to experience today’s pivotal cultural moments as they are happening from the comfort of their own home,” Matthew Durgin, director of smart TV content partnerships at LG Electronics USA, said in a press release.
Hulu today said the live service is also available now on all 2018 Samsung Tizen Smart TVs, and the Roku Streaming Stick 3500X and Roku 2 (4210X). Hulu Live was previously added to several other Roku devices.
“If you watch Hulu on any of these LG, Samsung or Roku devices, you’ll be able to subscribe to Hulu with Live TV to gain access to live and on-demand programming from over 50 top channels, including the newest addition to our channel lineup, The CW, and take advantage of personalized sports experiences,” Richard Irving, Hulu’s vice president for product, said in a company blog.
Hulu Live (and its SVOD service) is also on Apple TV (4th generation), Amazon Fire TV devices, Xbox One, iOS and Android mobile devices, Nintendo Switch and Chromecast.
The live service will debut season two of its Emmy-winning drama, The Handmaid’s Tale (pictured above), on April 25.
