To participate in the program, a current Sling TV subscriber must sign in to his or her account and click on the ‘Get $15’ button to send an e-mail to the friend.
After the 7-day free trial is over, and the friend continues to subscribe to Sling TV, the $5 discount will be applied to you and your friend for the next three months. (You can only get one $5 discount per monthly cycle up to 12 months.)
In addition to using the e-mail button, you can use a link at the Sling TV site to share the program on social media sites or via text message.
Sling’s Orange plan starts at $20-a-month and includes ESPN and roughly 30 cable networks. The Blue package costs $25-a-month, and includes more than 40 channels including live network feeds in select markets as well as several Fox channels.
