Roku is giving away $50 in Sling TV credits to any new Sling customer who buys a Roku device between now and April 7, 2018.
The device maker says the offer is only available when you sign up on-screen during the activation of your new Roku player or Roku TV.
Click Amazon: Roku Ultra 4K Streaming Player: $99
There are several ways you could use the $50 to purchase programming from Sling, the live streaming service owned by Dish.
Click Amazon: Roku Premiere 4K Player: $74
For instance, Sling’s Orange plan starts at $20-a-month and includes ESPN and roughly 30 cable networks. You could purchase two months of the Orange package and have $10 left over for two $5 add-on plans. (Sling has several $5 a month packages with additional channels, such as those for sports fans and kids.)
Click Amazon: Roku Express Streaming Stick: $29.
Sling’s Blue package costs $25-a-month, and includes more than 40 channels including live network feeds in select markets as well as several Fox channels. You could use the $50 to purchase two months of ‘Orange.’
While the Roku player or TV must be purchased between now and April 7, the company is allowing customers until April 14, 2018 to activate the device.
The Roku/Sling offer can not be combined with any other free trial. Sling offers a 7-day free trial for new customers.
Roku also says the $50 can not be applied to movie rental or pay-per-view.
